What options do I have?
Soft Wash - Chemical wash where we use a low pressure spray and cleaning solution (typically bleach) to kill and remove algae, mold, mildew, and dark staining from your roof. Immediate and fast deep clean that stays clean for approximately 1-3 years depending on shade, tree coverage, moisture levels, and proximity to bodies of water.
Soft Eco Friendly Wash - Citra Shield - Bleach free, low toxicity treatment that removes algae, mold, and staining without harsh chemicals. It is designed to be gentle on plants, pets, waterways, and roofing materials. Simialr to a 'Spray and Forget' it works over time, so your roof might take 1-3 months to show full effects. Non corrosive, so your flashings, screws, and roofing materials under your tile, are protected!
Drone Eco Friendly Wash - Modern eco friendly roof treatement where we use a spraying Drone (Yes! No one walking on your roof!) and apply Citra Shield. Double the benefit of no one walking on your roof and a bleach free eco friendly solution.
Options to keep your roof Cleaner longer?
RoofX - This is a penetrating breathable sealer that soaks into the pores of the tile and makes the tile hydrophobic (water repellent). Leaves no visible top coat, so your tile will remain matte for a natural look, but it reduces water absorption, prevents staining, and protects against dirt and mildew intrusion! Like RainX for your Roof!
Roof Clear - A protective acrilyc coating that refreshes the look of your roof while adding a layer of defense against the elements. This coating can enhance curb appeal and help maintain a more uniform appearance over time. Creates a protective layer over the tile, repels water, adds a slight sheen/slight 'wet' look, contains algaecide and mildecide to slow algae growth, and helps resist UV fading and weathering. Great option for those that want a shiny coat.
Debating which one is best for you?
We recommend RoofX due to the breathability of tile roofs. In SWFL, high humidity, consistent rain, and even morning dew, require concrete to breathe. RoofX also works with older roofs, while Roof Clear only works well with roofs less than 15 years old that do not have previous coatings.
